Facebook Ads for Chiropractors: How to Get More New Patients

October 28, 2026 · 7 min read

Facebook and Instagram are still one of the most reliable ways for a chiropractic practice to bring in new patients. But “boosting a post” or running a generic “we're accepting new patients” ad rarely works. Here's what does.

1. Lead with a condition, not your practice

People don't wake up wanting a chiropractor. They wake up with sciatica, a stiff neck or knee pain that keeps them off the golf course. Your ads should speak to that specific problem.

Instead of one ad for the whole practice, run separate campaigns for the services you want more of, such as back and neck pain, sciatica, neuropathy, knee pain, or shockwave therapy and spinal decompression. Each ad should name the problem, who it affects and what's different about your approach.

2. Make an offer worth responding to

A clear, low-risk first step gets far more responses than “call us to learn more.” Common examples are a new-patient consultation and exam at a reduced price, or a complimentary consultation for a specific treatment. Keep it simple and honest, and make sure your team can deliver on it.

3. Use creative that feels native to the feed

The ads that perform best usually don't look like ads. Three formats work well for chiropractic:

  • Condition-specific: a short video or image that calls out the problem directly (“Still dealing with sciatica that shoots down your leg?”).
  • UGC-style: a casual, filmed-on-a-phone clip of the doctor or a team member explaining the treatment.
  • Patient stories: a real patient talking about what life looked like before and after care, used with their permission and within advertising rules.

Test a few variations of each, keep the winners running and refresh creative regularly, since ads tire out as the same people see them again and again.

4. Keep targeting simple

Meta's delivery is good at finding the right people when you give it a clear ad and a reasonable radius around your practice. Start broad, usually adults within a comfortable driving distance, and let the creative and the offer do the filtering. Narrow interest stacks often just make results more expensive.

Health ads also come with rules: avoid language that implies you know someone's personal health condition (“Do you have back pain?” aimed at a person is a common rejection reason), and avoid guaranteed outcomes.

5. Use an instant form, then call fast

Meta's instant lead forms keep people inside the app, which means more leads at a lower cost. The trade-off is that those leads are colder than someone who searched for you, so what happens next matters most.

Call every lead within minutes, follow up with texts and more calls if they don't answer, explain the first visit and book them straight into your calendar. Then confirm and remind them before the appointment. This is where most practices lose the patients their ads already paid for.

6. Measure what actually matters

Cost per lead is only the start. Track how many leads book, how many bookings show and how many become patients. A campaign with a higher cost per lead can easily be the better one if those leads show up and start care.

Putting it together

  1. Pick the services you want more of.
  2. Build a condition-specific campaign with a clear offer for each.
  3. Run several creative formats and keep the winners.
  4. Target broadly around your practice.
  5. Call, qualify, book and remind every lead, fast.
  6. Judge results by patients started, not just leads.
